A little introduction
K. A. BAKER is a writer, artist, and amateur electronic music producer. From a very young age, she was passionate about character creation and story writing, often sharing them with whoever would listen. Her love for story writing led her to becoming a self published author.
She currently lives in North Carolina. She enjoys hibachi fried rice, gaming (her favorite game series is Pokemon!), watching “so bad it’s good” movies, and listening to semi-obscure music genres.
She draws all of her own artwork and book covers digitally through Clip Studio Paint. All of her characters were lovingly designed by hand.
Her debut novel, "DR. MALICE", was independently published in June of 2024.

Rex offers her paradise inside his old arcade machine at the cost of her humanity. With her life in shambles and her only guidance being two complete strangers who seem to know way too much about supernatural video games, Marnie goes on the run in the big city, pursued by her "old friend" and his
killer arcade machine.
As the clock ticks ever closer to the year 2000, Marnie must make a daunting choice: live a comfortable lie, or save humanity from the approaching digital apocalypse.
